Hadith 2157

Abu Saeed Al Khudri traced to Prophet ﷺ the following statement regarding the captives taken at Atwas. There must be no intercourse with pregnant woman till she gives birth to her child or with the one who is not pregnant till she has had one menstrual period.

Takhrij:
The aforementioned narration has been declared weak by our esteemed researcher, whereas other scholars have declared it authentic. Furthermore, our esteemed researcher has considered this narration to be weak in its chain of transmission in Sunan Abu Dawud (Urdu, Darussalam edition), and has further written that the hadith of Tayalisi suffices in its place.
From his statement, it is understood that this narration is actionable and can be used as evidence.
In addition, from the discussions of other scholars, the opinion of the authenticity of the hadith appears to be closer to what is correct.
And Allah knows best.
