Usamah bin Zaid said I asked Messenger of Allah ﷺ where will you encamp tomorrow? (This is asked on the occasion of his Hajj). He replied “Did Aqil leave any house for us?” He again said “We shall encamp in the valley (Khaif) of Banu Kinanah where the Quraish took an oath upon disbelief, that is, Al Muhassab. ” The oath was that Banu Kinanah concluded a pact with the Quraish against Banu Hashim “they would have no marital relationship with them, nor would give them accommodation nor would have any commercial ties with them. ” Al Zuhri said Al Khaif means valley.

Explanation & Benefits

Benefits and Issues:
➊
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) relinquished his father’s inheritance due to the migration (hijrah).
And Abu Talib’s property was inherited by Talib and Aqil.
Ja’far (radi Allahu anhu) and Ali (radi Allahu anhu), due to being Muslims, did not inherit from it.
Then, at the time of Badr, Talib disappeared.
So Aqil took possession of the entire house.
➋
Staying in the Valley of Muhassab (Abtah) was as an expression of gratitude.
It was here that the Quraysh had decided to boycott the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and the Muslims.
Today, Allah had erased the traces of that and reversed the outcome.
That is, Allah made these places the center of Islam.
And the Muslims became dominant over them.
For this reason, descending here as a form of thanksgiving is considered recommended (mustahabb).

Benefit:
An important issue of inheritance is stated in this hadith: no disbeliever (kafir) can inherit from a Muslim, and no Muslim can inherit from a disbeliever. In one hadith, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: «لا يتوارث أهل ملتين شتي» Two people of different religions cannot inherit from each other (in anything). [سنن ابي داؤد : 2911 اس كو امام ابن الجارود 967 نے صحیح کہا ہے]
Imam Nawawi (rahimahullah) writes:
“As for the Muslim, he also does not inherit from the disbeliever, according to the consensus of the majority of scholars among the Companions, the Followers (Tabi‘in), and those after them.” “According to the majority of the Companions, the Followers, and those after them, a Muslim cannot inherit from a disbeliever.” [شرح صحيح مسلم للنووي : 2/ 33]
