Narrated Rafi ibn Amr al-Muzani: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressing the people at Mina (on the day of sacrifice) when the sun rose high (i. e. in the forenoon) on a white mule, and Ali (Allah be pleased with him) was interpreting on his behalf; some people were standing and some sitting.

Brief Explanation
1؎: After hearing these words from the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), he was repeating them aloud so that those who were far from you (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) could also hear them.
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
1956. Commentary: ➊ It is recommended (mustahabb) for the Imam to deliver the sermon (khutbah) on this day of Hajj. ➋ The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) on one occasion delivered the sermon from atop his she-camel, and on another occasion from a white mule; there is no contradiction in this.
