Hadith 1935

Narrated Ali ibn Abu Talib: When the morning came, the Prophet ﷺ stood at the mountain Quzah and said: This is Quzah, and this is a place of stationing, and the whole of al-Muzdalifah is a place of stationing. I sacrificed the animals here, and the whole of Mina is a place of sacrifice. So sacrifice in your dwellings.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
English Commentary:
1:
Muzdalifah is the name of a mountain.

2:
Between Mina and Muzdalifah there is a valley in which the punishment descended upon the People of the Elephant (Ashab al-Feel).

3:
That is:
I feared that since Fadl was turning his attention towards the young woman, Satan might lead him astray.

4:
On the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, the pilgrim (haji) must perform four acts: 1- Stoning of the Jamrah Aqabah (rami). 2- Sacrifice of the hady (slaughtering the animal). 3- Shaving the head or shortening the hair (halq or qasr). 4- Tawaf al-Ifadah (circumambulation).

Observing the order in these four is preferable,
and if, for some reason, the order is not maintained, then neither is a compensatory sacrifice (dam) required, nor will there be any harm to the Hajj. However, some have said that although there will be no harm, a compensatory sacrifice (dam) will be required.
But they do not have any explicit evidence from the clear texts (nass sareeh) for this.
