باب أَمْرِ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِChapter: Regarding As-Safa and Al-Marwah.
Hadith 1903

حَدَّثَنَا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، زَادَ : " ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةَ فَسَعَى بَيْنَهُمَا سَبْعًا ثُمَّ حَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ " .
Ismail bin Abi Khalid said I heard Abd Allaah bin Abi Aufa narrated this tradition. His version added “He then came to Al Safa’ and Al Marwah and ran between them seven times and then shaved his head.

1903. Commentary: Al-Allamah al-Albani rahimahullah says: In this hadith, the mention of shaving the head is not authentic; in this ‘umrah, it is established that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had his hair trimmed.
