Abdullah ibn as-Saib reported on the authority of his father as-Saib that he used to lead Ibn Abbas (when he become blind) and make him stand in the third corner that was adjacent to the corner (Black Stone) near the entrance of the Kabah. Ibn Abbas used to say: Has it been reported to you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray in this place. He would reply: Yes. He then used to stand (there) and pray.

Urdu footnote:
"Near the third part" refers to the section of the eastern wall of the Ka'bah that is adjacent to the Rukn Yamani. This is the area opposite the door. The remaining wall is divided into two parts. It is possible that in that era, marks were placed on the floor or wall to indicate the sections. Or it is possible that they estimated the divisions. And Allah knows best. This narration is weak in its chain of transmission.
