حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، " أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مَعَهُ لَمْ يَطُوفُوا حَتَّى رَمَوْا الْجَمْرَةَ " .
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who accompanied him did not go round the Kabah till they threw pebbles at the Jamrah (pillar at Mina).

1896. Commentary: This narration is a part of the previous hadith (1781). And what is meant by it is the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah (Baytullah), which was performed by the people of the Qur'an.
