Narrated Safiyyah, daughter of Shaybah: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had some rest at Makkah in the year of its Conquest, he performed circumambulation on a camel and touched the corner (black Stone) with a crooked stick in his hand. She said: I was looking at him.

Benefits and Issues:

It is permissible to perform tawaf while riding on a mount. Therefore, if someone, due to an excuse, performs tawaf on a palanquin or a wheeled chair, the tawaf is valid.
➋
If it is difficult to touch the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad) during tawaf, then it is permissible to kiss it by touching it with a stick or something similar. Otherwise, making a gesture is sufficient.
➌
A "mihjan" refers to a staff or stick whose one end is curved.
➍
An idol of a living being should be broken and discarded, and images should be erased. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) commanded that the images drawn on the walls of the Ka'bah be erased.
