حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Nubaih bin Wahb through a different chain of narrators.
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
1839. Commentary: There is no harm to the state of ihram by putting something in the eye or applying a poultice to it. Similarly, it is also permissible to apply plain kohl (surmah) in which there is no fragrance.
