Umm al Hussain said We performed the Farewell Pilgrimage along with the Prophet ﷺ. I saw Usamah and Bilal one of them holding the halter of the she-Camel of the Prophet ﷺ, while the other raising his garment and sheltering from the heat till he had thrown pebbles at the jamrah of the ‘Aqabah.

1؎: It is obligatory for the muhrim (one in the state of ihram) to keep his head uncovered, but this does not mean that he should not benefit from an umbrella or a tent in intense sunlight, or that he should not travel in vehicles. These things are not attached or directly connected to his head.
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
1834. Commentary: It is permissible for a muhrim (one in the state of ihram) to sit in any shade, to use an umbrella, or for someone else to provide him with shade—all these situations are allowed. However, he cannot tie a turban, cap, or cloth, etc.

Sayyidah Umm Husayn (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon, he was wearing a cloak and the muscles of his shoulders were moving (i.e., an expression of fervor was apparent).
Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit: It is established from this hadith that if the body moves during the sermon, no deficiency results from it. The preacher should gesture with the index finger of the right hand, not with both hands.
