Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Ibn Abbas recited this verse: 'It is no sin for you that you seek the bounty of your Lord', and said: The people would not trade in Mina (during the hajj), so they were commanded to trade when they proceeded from Arafat.

1731. Commentary:
➊ In this noble verse, it is clarified that after entering into the state of ihram, engaging in occupations such as trade—so long as the obligatory and necessary acts are not neglected—contains no harm or fault.
➋ Acquiring provisions for the journey in this permissible manner is entirely lawful (halal).
