Brief Explanation
1؎: Abbas radi Allahu anhu was from Banu Hashim, and charity (sadaqah) is not permissible for Banu Hashim. For this reason, Khatabi has interpreted that it is possible that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam took this camel from Abbas radi Allahu anhu as a loan, and then when camels from charity (sadaqah) came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he repaid that loan with camels from charity. And Bayhaqi has also interpreted that it is possible that this incident occurred before charity was made unlawful for Banu Hashim.
