Narrated Yazid ibn Saeed al-Kindi: When the Prophet ﷺ made supplication (to Allah) he would raise his hands and wipe his face with his hands.

1492. Commentary: For the explanation of this issue, see the benefits of Hadith 1485. Also, keep in mind that raising the hands in every supplication is not established. There are numerous occasions where supplication is legislated, but raising the hands is not established at all. For example, after eating or at the time of sleep, etc.
