Nafi said: Ibn Umar saw a man praying two rak'ahs after the Friday prayer on the same place (where he offered the Friday prayer). He pushed him and said: Do you offer four rak'ahs of Friday prayer ? Abdullah (bin Umar) used to pray two rak'ahs in his house after the Friday prayer, and he used to say: This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did.

1127. Commentary: ➊ After the obligatory prayers, one should not perform voluntary (nafl) prayers immediately at the same place; rather, one should change location, or create an interval through conversation with someone or by engaging in remembrance (adhkar). ➋ After Jumu‘ah, it is Sunnah to go home and perform two rak‘ahs. ➌ It is the responsibility of the scholars to fulfill the duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil (amr bil-ma‘ruf wa nahi ‘anil-munkar) with courage. However, for this great objective, it is necessary that before exhorting others, one proves oneself worthy of it—that is, one should align one’s own character, conduct, and actions with the purified Sunnah.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: One is not credited with having observed the prayer without the recitation (of al-Fatiha). So said Abu Hurairah (RA) : (The prayer in which) the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited in a loud voice, we also recited that loudly for you (and the prayer in which) he recited inwardly we also recited inwardly for you (to give you a practical example of the prayer of the Holy Prophet).
Shaykh Maulana Abdul Aziz Alvi
Hadith Commentary:Benefits and Issues: From the statement of Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu, it is understood that there is no alternative to reciting al-Fatihah, and reciting more than this is a cause of reward and virtue, even though the prayer will be valid with only al-Fatihah.

Benefit: The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to perform voluntary prayers (nafl) and Sunnah prayers at home. However, it is also permissible to perform Sunnah prayers in the mosque.
