This hadith was narrated by A'mash on the authority of the same chain of narrators and he said: One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) climbed the hill of Safa' and said: Be on your guard, and the rest of the hadith was narrated like the hadith transmitted by Usama; he made no mention of the revelation of the verse:" Warn thy nearest kindred."

Hadith Commentary:Benefits and Issues: From the aforementioned authentic ahadith, it is established that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) will not intercede for anyone, even his closest relatives, without the permission of Allah Almighty. And it is explicitly stated in the Noble Qur’an:
﴿يَوْمَئِذٍلَّاتَنفَعُالشَّفَاعَةُإِلَّامَنْأَذِنَلَهُالرَّحْمَـٰنُوَرَضِيَلَهُقَوْلً﴾ (Surah Ta Ha: 109) "On that Day, intercession will not benefit anyone except the one for whom the Most Merciful has granted permission and whose word He is pleased with."
In Ayat al-Kursi, it is stated: ﴿مَنذَاالَّذِييَشْفَعُعِندَهُإِلَّابِإِذْنِهِ﴾ "Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?"
Despite these explicit ahadith and verses, to say: "Allah Almighty has made the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) the owner and possessor of intercession"—how audacious is this! And at the same time, to accept that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is not the owner and possessor of intercession without Allah’s permission and instruction.
One who needs to seek permission and inform (Allah) cannot be called the owner and possessor. Whoever is the owner and possessor of something does not need to seek permission from anyone regarding it.
