حَدَّثَنَا
مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى ، عَنْ
شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ
مُخَوَّلٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ ، " وَزَادَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِسُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ .
This tradition has also been transmitted through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: In the Friday prayer he would recite Surah al-Jumu’ah (lxxi) and Surah al-Munafiqunn.

1075. Commentary:
The recitation of these surahs is Sunnah, recommended, and superior. In this way, from a conceptual perspective, it is as if Muslims are given a lesson for the entire week. These surahs contain mention of all matters such as tawheed (monotheism), messengership, the Day of Judgment, Paradise, Hell, faith, knowledge, and action, etc.
