´It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah (SWT) for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr."

1390. Commentary:
➊ In this narration, "saa‘aat" refers to the well-known (astronomical) hours, meaning there are certain moments appointed by Allah, which possess virtue, and among them the most excellent is that moment in which no supplication is rejected.
➋ According to the most authenticated narrations, that time or moment is sometime after ‘Asr (afternoon) prayer. Although there are other opinions regarding this as well. And Allah knows best.
